The Richmond Dental Society (RDS) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to continually improve the quality of dental education and treatment, serving Richmond, VA and the surrounding area. The RDS represents one of eight components (component IV) of the Virginia Dental Association (VDA) , and is also affiliated with the American Dental Association (ADA) .  The structure of our organization is known as "tripartate" in that a member of the RDS is typically a member of all three organizations at once - covering the local, state, and national levels.  Our members exemplify the highest ideals of the profession of dentistry.  The Society helps foster camaraderie among members as well as other health professionals.  The membership includes general practitioners as well as dental specialists and we encourage each and every dentist in the greater Richmond area to become a member by contacting our Executive Director, Linda Simon.
