The Richmond Dental Society, and the Virginia Dental Association, remain committed to ensuring policy makers hear the voice of organized dentistry.

The VDA strives to ensure that the interests of the profession and dental patients are protected. Monitoring and serving as an advocate for legislation that may affect dentistry, our contract lobbyists protect our interests during the Session of the General Assembly. VDA members who serve as key contacts to members of the legislature mobilize our grassroots efforts through their interaction with members during Session. The Virginia Dental Political Action Committee maintains the Association’s access to key decision makers through its fundraising efforts.

The VDA’s legislative strength is a result of our member’s interest in policy and willingness to be involved. We welcome member’s participation in the VDA Legislative Day at the Capitol, our grassroots network, and political action committee, VADPAC.
