Course Description (Lecture Style Webinar): This course is an update in Pediatric Dentistry to discuss the most current trends in behavior management, local anesthesia, restorative dentistry, pulpal therapy and the most common oral pathologic conditions in the pediatric population.

Instructor: Dr. William Dahlke

Dr. Bill Dahlke completed dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  He practiced General Dentistry and taught at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine for several years before furthering his training in Pediatric Dentistry, also at UNLV.  Bill then owned and operated a private pediatric practice in Las Vegas.  Following several years in private practice, his desire to be in education brought him back into academic dentistry and to the East Coast! He currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the VCU School of Dentistry and the Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond while also serving as the Director of the Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at VCU. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, has been published in the scientific literature and has contributed to several published textbooks.  He has expertise in all areas of pediatric dentistry and provides care for even the most complex child.
