Getting to Know Lindsay W. Parker, Our New Executive Director

Nov 4, 2026

The Richmond Dental Society is excited to welcome Lindsay Parker as our new Executive Director!

Lindsay has been part of the Richmond dental community for more than 25 years. She began her career in orthodontics before transitioning into endodontics, where she has spent many years building relationships with dentists and dental teams throughout the Richmond area. Over the years, those relationships have become one of her favorite parts of working in dentistry, and she looks forward to continuing to connect with the people who make this dental community so special.

Lindsay's relationship with the Richmond Dental Society goes back quite a few years. Before becoming part of the RDS team, she regularly attended Society events, including the annual fundraiser and Give Kids a Smile. She enjoyed being involved and staying connected to the dental community beyond her day-to-day work. In 2020, her involvement grew when she began managing the Society's social media. That opportunity allowed her to connect with even more members and develop an even greater appreciation for everything RDS does for the Richmond dental community.

Now, she's excited to take on this new role, continue building those relationships, and get to know even more of our members!

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM LINDSAY

As I step into this new role, I can't help but think about the incredible legacy Linda Simon leaves behind. For more than four decades, Linda has been such an important part of the Richmond Dental Society. Her dedication, commitment, and genuine love for the Society and its members have made a lasting impact on our dental community. I certainly have some big shoes to fill, and I hope to carry on the wonderful work she has done while bringing my own enthusiasm and ideas to the role.

I'm truly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing the relationships I've built over the years while getting to know even more of you. One of the things I've always loved about working in dentistry is the people, and I'm excited to have even more opportunities to connect with our members.

Outside of work, I live in Hanover County with my husband and our three children, where we have a small hobby farm. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, growing flowers on the farm, or cheering on the Washington Capitals. I'm also a Virginia Tech football fan, thanks to my husband, so I guess you could say I'm a Hokie by marriage!

I'm excited about this next chapter with the Richmond Dental Society and look forward to seeing everyone at upcoming events. If we haven't met yet, please come say hello! I'd love the chance to get to know you.

Please join us in welcoming Lindsay to the RDS family!
